This policy explains what happens to information when you visit Time Travel Leap. We keep it short and plain.

What we collect

We do not ask you to sign up, log in or give us your name, and we do not sell personal information. Like most websites, our host receives standard technical data when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the site that referred you and the time of your visit.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to count visits and see which articles people read. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technology to collect usage data, which Google processes for us. We do not use it to identify you personally.

Cookies and your choice

This site does not set its own cookies and does not show ads yet. Google Analytics sets cookies, and the site loads the Google AdSense publisher code, which Google may use to set or read cookies. If we start showing ads, we will describe advertising cookies and your opt-out choices here first.

If your device appears to be in the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we show a cookie banner. Your browser checks its own time zone setting to decide this, so we make no extra request to find your location. If the browser does not report a time zone, we show the banner too. Until you choose, we tell Google not to store analytics or advertising cookies, using Google Consent Mode. Choose Accept to allow analytics cookies or Decline to refuse them.

Your browser stores your choice on your device (in local storage), and the site does not send it to us. You can change it anytime with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. Visitors outside those regions do not see the banner, but they can also use Cookie settings to decline. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them.

Links to other sites

Articles link to journals, DOI pages and other sources. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

Children

We do not direct this site to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the effective date above.
